Flowers add a festive accent to every students’ look. For high school seniors, prom may represent the last big social event of their high school careers. How Far in Advance Should I Place an Order?

Prom is a busy time for us, and we’ll be getting a lot of orders for boutonnieres, corsages, and wristlets. The sooner you can place your order, the better – for you and us. But we like to have our customers place their prom flowers orders at least two weeks before the event. We can’t guarantee that your flowers will be ready on time if you don’t give us enough advance notice.

What Should I Consider When Purchasing Prom Flowers?

People are looking for custom designs that reflect their personalities. No one wants to have a boutonniere, a corsage, or wristlet that looks like the flowers that other students are wearing (except, perhaps, for the colors.) You can help us a lot by having your date drop off a picture of their dress or a swatch of the dress fabric. Guys can do the same with their suits or tuxedos.

Don’t be afraid to ask your date about their favorite flowers, flower combinations, and most importantly, if they have any allergies to flowers. Ask about accents that your date likes. We can add pearls, faux jewels and rhinestones, and accent flowers to all our designs for prom flowers. Guys shouldn’t be afraid to ask their dates whether they prefer a wristlet, a corsage, or a handheld bouquet.

What Happens When I Come to Get My Order?

Be ready to pick your flowers up on prom day. Take the time to look at the flowers before you leave the shop. We want to be sure that you’re thrilled with the order, and that we didn’t make any mistakes with flower selection or color.

What Should I Do When I Get Home?

• Do put the flowers in the refrigerator on the top shelf.
• Do Not remove the flowers from the box.
• Do Not leave flowers in the car.
• Do Not put flowers in the freezer!
• If you got a handheld bouquet, you need to put the bouquet in the refrigerator. Before you do so, fill a glass with a tiny bit of water so that nothing more than the tips of the flower stems touches the water.
